All staff are positive and proactive. I feel as though the home has a full understanding of mum's care needs.
Lovely, clean and tidy home. Very welcoming staff and surroundings. Visiting a friend's mum.
My mum is in her happy place; she is so well looked after. I am putting my name down for 15 years from now. The manager and all the carers are fantastic and make me and others so welcome. Thank you.
Since arriving at Acacia Court in late December 2024, my elderly mum has flourished and honestly looks years younger. She has been in ill health for years and came to the home permanently after a particularly long stay in hospital and honestly the improvement is staggering.
She was unable to walk or stand up - she is now shuffling about the place with her walker again. She was unable to do anything except sit and doze, she's now back reading countless books, doing her puzzles, taking an interest in life again and knitting and crocheting for the Annual Summer Fair! It's all testament to the lovely care environment she is in.
The staff are all positive, proactive, and friendly and they care about their residents. She is extremely well looked after, is 'fed and watered' with a huge variety of meals. Her meds are issued properly; hygiene, health and general wellbeing monitored too. I cannot praise the management and staff enough and would highly recommend this home to people considering.
Today Saturday 31st May was a garden party and what a fabulous event it was. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The organisation that went into setting up this event by management, carers, kitchen staff, maintenance, church, and volunteers was amazing.
Gazebos, banners, balloons, games for children of family, stalls with plants, burgers, coffee, cakes, strawberries and cream, tombola, raffles and more. Singers that were amazing. My Mum is living and being cared for here and we took her into the fabulously beautiful huge garden to join in this fabulously special day. It truly was beautiful. Thank you to everyone that made this day so special.
